The Amazon Tree Boa is a slender snake that likes to climb and wrap itself around branches. As one of the most variable snakes, its colors range from yellow, red, dark green, tan or brown and markings that may or may not be present can consist of bands, bars or circles these markings can be both of the darker or lighter in color.
The Amazon Tree Boa is not a snake to have out on a regular basis, it is more for those who love the arboreal snakes than those that want something to handle. The young can be handled quite easily as they will have small mouth,s but adults should be handled with care as they are quite nippy. Either using welding gloves or by simply picking up the branch they are upon you can move them for cleaning and maintenance
